Internal Door Sets

We carry a range of locksets for internal doors. The type of lock we install depends on how you want it to work.

For example, do you want a handle and latch that secures the door but doesn’t lock it? Or, do you want to be able to lock the door from the inside but only unlock it from the outside if there is an emergency (such as a toilet door)?

We can install both types of locks, as well as standard key locks for internal doors if you require them.

Choose between a knob and a lever

Internal locksets are usually either a knob (round-shaped handle) or a lever (L-shaped handle). Mechanically, they are exactly the same on the inside – they just have a different look and feel.

Knobs are often more popular because they are classic, easy and intuitive to use. They can also be slightly cheaper than a lever equivalent.

Levers are easier to use for people who are elderly or disabled, or have a weak grip. They are also easier to operate in a fire or emergency.
